Well, we survived Quilt Show 2008 ...
thanks to our chairs Sue and Connie and all the hard working guild
members, their men and other family members who came to help!
Preliminary data shows that the foot traffic and income was a little
bit less this year than in 2006, but a good time was had by all who
attended. We know there were many visitors who had their
creative juices stimulated by coming to our quilt show, so
we'll probably have more members soon.
The range of
quilts, someone commented, was really good ... from beginners to
advanced, and from stock patterns and kits to amazing original art.
Wish we had more space here to share, but we
are posting some
random shots taken by the Webmaster and Nancy Haynie. If you have
photos or information to share, contact us through the Write Us page and
we'll get the information out to everyone via this site, and can
rotate the photos in and out for your viewing pleasure. Some of
these photos are of set-up, some are during the show and also of the
amazingly quick take-down ... enjoy! There are more pics on the Quilt Show
2008 page.

* This
page is just waiting for you to send me photos of your favorite or
latest quilts, your mini-groups, etc.! E-mail me through the Write
Us page and attach your photo (doesn't need to be big), or
bring me your pics at the next guild meeting, and I can scan them in
with my scanner and return them to you at the following
meeting. We want to showcase every one of our quilters!
