Each year in October a group of ladies from the Carson Valley Quilt Guild go on retreat for three days to a nearby venue. There are reasonably priced comfortable lodgings, delicious meals and snacks provided, and inspiration from your fellow quilters. Attendees come away with finished or almost finished projects, and wonderful memories. Applications are accepted beginning at the April guild meeting. This year there are two retreats - one in the Spring and one in the Fall. The Spring retreat will be held at our traditional meeting place, the Carson Valley United Methodist Church, and the Fall retreat will be returning to the Presbyterian Conference Center at Lake Tahoe.
